keith - mona lisa's child (alan braxe & fred falke remix)




keith are a manchester-based band who have been around for little while, but to be honest neither their singles nor remixes (from the likes of simian mobile disco, matthew herbert & jack bullit) have grabbed out attention.

then this comes along and knocks our heart out.

it has to be one of the best 'indie-electro' remixes going, and as far as we have seen, doesnt appear to be getting the love it deserves.

alan braxe & fred falke are legends. simple as.

recently their mixes of death from above 1979, goldfrapp & royksopp have been getting a fair bit of rotation, but it is their tune 'intro' from the running ep on roule (2000) for which they are most well known. (anyone that saw mr braxe at fabric over the summer would know that the tune still kills it.......)
